Summary of Essential Job Functions
· Liaise with restaurants, bars, other departments, and partners.
· Support the creation of marketing projects including digital and print assets like menus, signage, flyers, and more.
· Update the website by coordinating changes with web team, including menus, calendar of events, and general content.
· Aid in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
· Assist with the planning of photo and video shoots, promotional and other special events.
· Manage the hotel’s monthly activations calendar of key music dates and events.
· Support the Marketing Director in management of the hotel’s social media agency.
· Enhance the group business experience through customization of the Pod-wall and lighting.
· Participate in the on-going training and development of crew and management, focusing on music, memorabilia, company culture and the spirit of Rock ‘n Roll.
· Be knowledgeable about the VIBE programs and promote awareness among the crew regarding new products and procedures.
· Enhance the company culture by managing the Sound Check daily briefing program.
· Inspect public areas daily while monitoring music, video content, temperature, lighting, and scents using the Daily Inspection Audit Form to ensure that the music, lighting, visuals, and scent supports the Hard Rock vibe.
· Manage Hotel relationship with Rx Music and the Hotel Music System, playlist schedule (monitoring, adjusting, and creating local music play-lists, adapted to time of day, day of week and vibe) and create new playlists, as needed.
· Become an expert in the Hotel’s music memorabilia collection and provide guests with informative memorabilia tours on a weekly basis.
Minimum Requirements
· Possesses a positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.
· Must be highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects successfully.
· Prior experience in marketing and / or digital media preferred.
· Ability to form strong relationships with Hard Rock employees, vendors, and outside organizations.
· Passion for learning and demonstration of Hard Rock Memorabilia.
· Command of various software programs and social media platforms – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
· Knowledge and understanding of website and social media content development (primarily Instagram and Facebook) preferred.
· Experience in hotels and hospitality strongly preferred. Knowledge of the music industry (national and local) a plus.
· Experience in hotel/AV technology, including interactive televisions, digital signage, and lighting design experience a plus.
Language Skills
· Must possess excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as strong communication and listening skills.
· Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
· Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
Other Requirements and Characteristics
· The work requires light physical exertion with long periods of sitting, occasional standing, and walking; limited bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds.
