Job Abstract

• The Deputy Director, Community Violence Intervention (CVI) Programs will collaborate closely with the Director to oversee the comprehensive operations of the department.
• This leadership role entails managing the execution of the strategies for effective program operations of the Safe Streets component.
• By leading a team of managers, supervisors, and front-line staff, the Deputy Director ensures the effective coordination and achievement of program goals, embodying our commitment to reducing violence and promoting peace within urban communities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline
• 7 plus years of experience
• In-depth understanding of evidence-based violence intervention strategies and best practices for community engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.
• Outstanding organizational abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• A deep commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for addressing systemic barriers and empowering communities
