Job Description
NBCUniversal is looking for a Senior Special Events Coordinator to join our Studio Operations Marketing Team in Universal City, California! In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop, plan, execute, and promote small-scale Special Events and promotional shoots on the lot.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee scope of small-scale events and shoots with clients, various departments, employees, and vendors
Coordinate all details of events and shoots including initial inquiry, site-visit, proposal, client budget, strategic layouts, and on-site operational management.
Partner with third party vendors and internal departments, to oversee execution and final billing on events and shoots
Accommodate press activity on the lot for internal and external customers
Organize and maintain department forms, documents, maps, diagrams and photo/video assets in company digital shared drives
Assist with answering the Special Events phone and responding to email inquiries
Provide administrative support such as managing event calendars, TrackVia reports, drafting agreements, COI collection and obtaining contract signatures
Assist with capturing events social media content
Attend networking events to build and maintain client relationships

What You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field
2+ years of professional experience

Experience using social media such as Instagram and Facebook
Ability to support several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements:
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
