Through your CK Internship, you will…
Gain a basic understanding of tax preparation skills, including the use of CCH ProSystems fx tax Suite software
Work on real year-end client work (trial balances, journal entries, work papers, etc.)
Compile financial statements, assist with reviews and audits
Collaborate with all levels of the firm, from associate to partner
Full-time, paid internship at 40 hours a week with overtime as needed, and part-time options available for those seeking flexibility
Requirements
Intern Qualifications:
Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business-economics, or related major
Preferred GPA of 3.0 and above
Strong initiative, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
Ability to interact with all levels of the firm
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Knowledge of financial software applications (QuickBooks, Quicken, etc) is a plus, but not required
Meets firm standards for attendance, punctuality, and work deadlines
Internship Length: Early January 2025 (exact date TBD) to April 15, 2025
