This community-based 120+ bed acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center offers a broad range of medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including 24-hour emergency and trauma care, primary care, advanced inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and much more. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate a broad spectrum of patients requiring psychiatric care. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously to determine the best plan of care, providing individualized treatment to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will coordinate and facilitate ongoing mental health care and services, providing psychopharmacology, patient medication monitoring, behavioral assessments, patient education, and information on community health resources. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team and Medical Director, ensuring optimal patient care outcomes.
