We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to support our Labor Accounting team in Poway, CA. Under close supervision, this position performs a variety of complex labor accounting tasks in support of Labor Accounting Operations. This role requires interfacing with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve issues with solutions developed by the Business Analyst team. This role will assist with monitoring and maintaining the current timekeeping system interfaces between SAP, AMPS (CAMS) and AutoTime. Assists with the reporting and analyzing of accounting data for manufacturing, project managers, division directors and senior management. A successful team member must be flexible to changing business requirements in both a technical and non-technical environment and willing to take on any task (simple or complex) to assist the team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs detailed and complex analysis of labor and payroll data.
Troubleshoot systems to resolve and recommend process improvement.
Responsible for support for select internal organizations to include timecard processing, payroll/labor account reconciliations, specialized department timekeeping training and to provide top quality customer service via heavy phone and email communications.
Facilitates customer outreach through informational briefings and application walkthroughs.
Performs a variety of difficult Labor Accounting repetitive projects with the goal of identifying automation breakthroughs.
Coordinates with the Labor Accounting team to create and maintain training materials for solutions, coordinates with stakeholders on training requirements and schedules.
Facilitates alignment with internal company policies and guidelines for solutions, including creation and submission of company-required documentation.
Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills to perform detailed and sometimes complex ad-hoc analysis of labor and payroll data.
Coordinates, tracks, and reports on the progress of work assignments and/or projects.
May maintain department information on company intranet.
Responds to routine verbal and written requests for information from internal sources.
Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Provides a customer focused approach to requested information from other members of the department.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge of Oracle/SQL desired.
Must be able to manage several projects, tickets and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment and multi-task without sacrificing quality of work.
Knowledge of general business processes in human resources, timekeeping, and payroll areas.
Advanced excel skills are required to create and maintain complex spreadsheets with advanced Excel functions and formulas.
SAP experience desired.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required.
Experience with SharePoint or related database/collaboration software is highly desirable.
