The Document Control Coordinator will be responsible for performing document control activities for the Regulatory Department, including document request, tracking and uploading into network systems, including Genesis Nutritional software. He/she will also be responsible for reviewing Regulatory documentation in Trace Gains ingredient document platform. The candidate must have strong communications skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and be proficient in Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
Interface with vendors, suppliers, outside labs and consultants to obtain required documentation for label information validation.
Review and track supplier documents to ensure all required Regulatory documents have been submitted.
Save and Upload documents into regulatory systems
Review Regulatory documents which are gathered in Trace Gains and inform analysts of changes.
Organize and maintain required documentation for Regulatory
Nutritional data entry and maintenance of information ESHA Genesis software system.
Maintenance of Label Requirement Excel spreadsheet and electronic library of Label Requirement Sheets.
Provide information to customers and internal stakeholders on requests for nutritional information and bioengineered status.
Provide assistance to Regulatory Compliance Analysts in the development of Nutrition Facts Panels, Ingredient statements and allergen declaration statements for labels.
Exercise judgment in adequacy of documentation received and for selecting methods for securing documents.
Edit standard operating procedures and other controlled documents within established guidelines.
Provide feedback and recommendations for securing documents to Regulatory Staff, QA and Research & Development.
Experience, Skills, Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Food Science
1 year or less experience required. Demonstrated interest in food regulation or food science. Internship experience preferred.
Demonstrated interest in Regulatory Affairs
Proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
Possess the ability to easily multi-task
