PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be prepared and arrive at least ten minutes early for each appointment; start and end on time
Enthusiastically greet and assist each client in preparation for his/her massage
Perform massage therapy services professionally, catering to the client’s needs
Keep massage room clean and stocked for the next client or therapist
Promote spa specials as well as ongoing services, products and gift certificates
Strive to create loyal customers and ongoing clients; encourage clients to book continuing and future appointments
Strive to build a referral business
Offer parting wishes to all clients as they leave the spa
Communicate frequently with staff who are maintaining the appointment book to stay aware of any changes to the schedule
Work closely with other spa staff (i.e., estheticians) to coordinate the delivery of spa package services
Participate in club programs to promote massage and wellness services (i.e., performing chair massages at a health fair, etc.)
Maintain required certifications and/or licenses
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Spa Manager
