Senior Structural Engineer - Houston TX

Halff has an open position for a Senior Structural Engineer in our Houston, TX location. This position is for an individual with 5 to 15 years of experience in Structural Engineering interested in working on bridge and building design projects. Senior Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

Will design complete projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, Civil Structures, and vehicular bridges
Will manage production of construction drawings for own work
Will review contractor submittals during construction
Will manage project budgets
Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects
Will assist in training less experienced staff
Will provide CAD assistance when necessary

Senior Structural Engineer Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Masters Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred
EIT License is required
PE license in Texas or can obtain within 6 months
A minimum of 5 to 15 years of experience in Structural Design
Experience managing structural design and plan production
MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
