Rate of Pay: Thesalary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $108,243.00 – 130,700.00 peryear and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties:Supporting the execution of passenger locomotive projects rangingfrom $30M to $500+M in value and durations from 3-6 years. Collaborating withan international team at a large manufacturing facility where projectmanagement, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing are co-located.Supporting customer communication. Supporting the project manager duringproject execution phases including proposals, planning, design, procurement,manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Supporting the projectmanager when leading discussions/negotiations with customers for scopeclarification and changes in scope, cost and schedule. Overseeing design reviewactivities for conceptual, preliminary and final design as well as any changesin project scope, identifying potential problems, and devising contingencyplans. Driving the project schedule for design, project milestones, vehicledelivery and acceptance. Overseeing project activities for engineering andprocurement, as well as actions for manufacturing startup. Communicatingproject expectations to team members and stakeholders. Developing anddelivering monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer changeproposals, and presentations to management and internal / externalstakeholders.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor'sdegree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered orin a Project Management-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

• Interpretingtechnical documentation and drawings

• Presentingtechnical content to customers and consultants

• Working withnegotiating change orders and related cost impacts

• Drivingproject schedule for design, manufacturing, delivery and acceptance milestones

• Working withprocurement tasks for on-time delivery of components to the build schedule

25% domestic and international travel required for the role.
