Position Overview:
As an Electrical Assembler, you will support a broad range ofactivities in a dynamic, high energy production environment building electricalcontrol racks, wire harnesses, and other sub-assemblies for the best railvehicles in the world.
What will your day look like:
· Assembly of component parts and sub-assemblies according toengineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
· Read and understand assembly drawings, bills of materials, andassembly instructions.
· Connects wires between individual component leads and othercomponents, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
· Make electrical wire terminations.
· Cuts wire to specified lengths and routes, combs, twists, wraps,ties, and attaches wire to terminal points.
· Safely use hand and power tools.
· Complete work order documentation, quality documents, andaccurately clock labor hours.
· Meet company standards for quality and workmanship.
· Meet production schedule, quality requirements, and budgeted laborhours with limited supervision.
· Explain assembly procedures and techniques to fellow workers.
· Follow all safety requirements, including use of all requiredpersonal protective equipment (PPE). Contribute to and maintain conditions thatensure a healthy and safe work environment.
What you need to be successful:
· High school education or GED
· Previous Electrical Assembly experience or similar
· Ability to perform proper wire stripping and crimping techniques.
· Ability to assemble components on panels per given blueprint or schematics.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in electricalassemblies, collaborating with team members and supervisors as needed.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safetyprotocols and regulations at all times.
We would be impressed if you have:
· Experience reading electrical schematics and wire lists.

o Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch,or crawl.

Starting hourly rate - $20.00/hr. (plus shift premium – 10% for2nd shift, 20% for 3rd shift). The actual wage offered may be loweror higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, andqualifications.
