Job Description
WANTED: We are looking for a System Engineer II with demonstrated experience supporting DoD requirements to join our team in West Bethesda, MD!
As a System Engineer II, you will:

A week in the life of a System Engineer II:
Support all phases of the system lifecycle, from concept to retirement
Perform root cause analysis of system/component issues and/or failure
Research and review ship’s structural and electrical drawings to support system integration
Conduct 2D and 3D modeling design and drafting of mechanical and electrical assemblies
Inspection and acceptance of material received from procurement or fabrication
Support all aspects of alteration technical data package (TDP) development.
Draft forwarding letters and process flow checklists
Ship check and fit check of submarines
Support all aspects of system testing and documentation, including but not limited to:
Support the creation of departures from specification (DFS)
Engage with traditional and Agile project management processes and systems engineering processes
Identify and remove obstacles in the workflow
Support with presentations and briefs to stakeholders
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s level degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
Active Secret Clearance
At least 3 years of experience in:
Multi-disciplinary teams supporting Submarine system development, system integration, and alteration package development.
Electrical Engineering related to submarine system development, system integration, or alteration development.
MATLAB/Simulink, Linux, C/C++
