Job Abstract

The NP will provide inpatient consultative care for adult patients with solid tumors at UCSF Health licensed settings, specifically at UCSF's Helen Diller Medical Center at Parnassus Heights. Responsibilities include ordering chemotherapy for hospitalized patients with solid tumors and providing inpatient consultative care for patients with suspected or confirmed solid tumors.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

• Three (3) years experience as a NP in an inpatient or outpatient solid tumor medical oncology program.
• Experience working with clinical trial protocols.
• Experience working in an academic medical center.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical oncology or malignant hematology Nurse Practitioner experience or completion of a one-year comprehensive oncology APP fellowship program.
