Reporting to the ACIO of Health Sciences IT (HSIT), and in partnership with Yale University data stewards and Yale ITS, develop an Enterprise Analytics program focused on serving all of the Yale Health Sciences: School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Public Health, and Yale Health.
Improve the self-service, data reporting experience through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture in alignment with the University data strategy. Develop digital and data platforms that provide insightful relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.
Develop a fully mature Enterprise Analytics program that aggregates data sources from multiple business dimensions: Finance, Research Enterprise, Practice, Education, Faculty, Space, Grants, and DEIB into a central EDW or data lake repository.
Lead a team of technical professionals and assume responsibility for ensuring project scope, roadmap, deliverables, and resources are well defined, that risk is identified and mitigated, and change impact is addressed for that workstream. Proven ability to manage multiple/complex projects, meeting deadlines and budget. 1. Establishes departmental goals and objectives, policies and procedures, functions with autonomy. 2. Manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial and often physical resources in compliance with department and university strategic goals and objectives. 3. Communicate effectively; create clear and coherent written materials; ability to influence the direction of services, systems, or project/s. 4. May function as an advisor to department and/or university leadership. 5. May manage several large and complex projects simultaneously. 6. Collaborates with senior leadership to determine overall staffing levels to meet business objectives; responsible for managing budgets and/or financial risk. 7. Collaborates with department and/or university leadership to develop and implement strategic and operational goals, objectives and fiscal strategy and controls. Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
