Job Abstract

A leading acute care hospital located in the metropolitan New York City region is now seeking an experienced Manager Construction Projects to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This not-for-profit medical center is home to roughly 300-beds and offers exceptional acute and preventative medical care to the surrounding communities. Reporting to the AVP Planning and Project Management, the Manager Construction Projects will oversee the execution and design of all construction projects within the hospital. This includes renovations, additions, and new construction projects. Responsibilities include developing project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards, managing purchasing and material allocation, offering direct supervision to design teams and contractors, adheres to all safety standards, and works collaboratively with all levels of hospital leadership teams.

What’s Needed to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s level degree in engineering, architecture, or related field
• Progressive project management experience in healthcare sector
• Strong understanding of Microsoft, Auto CADD, and Revit software
