Job Abstract

Medically treats adult clinic patients for non-emergency, low-to-moderate complexity primary care problems. Takes, records, and reviews medical histories of patients. Performs physical examinations. Orders laboratory and other diagnostic tests. Diagnoses patient illnesses or conditions. Uses appropriate diagnostic equipment. Determines treatment plans. Writes prescriptions. Completes patient charts and billing forms. Refers patients, as necessary. Prepares reports as required. Performs other job-related duties as required.

A Master of Science Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Two years of full time paid clinical nursing experience is required. Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner including prescriptive authority from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing is required. A State of Ohio Driver's License is required. Must have basic computer skills.
