As the Team Lead you will lead a crew of employees in servicing and repairing modular buildings. Monitor the work of team members to meet productivity, quality and safety requirements. Ensure team maintains tools, supplies and work area consistent with the area's 5 S checklist. Actively participate in safety meetings and safety training of crew members. Carry out current industry safety practices to include knowledge of OSHA requirements. Conduct daily and weekly safety audits and document results. Provide continuous training of crew members and new employees; coaches and counsels team members as needed with regards to responsibilities of their positions. Act as a back fill for other leaders when necessary. Other duties as assigned "Must Haves"Able to effectively lead a team and offer guidance and direction. Prior experience overseeing the work of a team of at least 6 employees desired. Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided; Able to work outside in variable weather conditions. Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines. Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company's safety policies and procedures. Deliver a high quality output consistent with the Company's construction standards. Able to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut or separate materials to specific measurements or quantities. Prior experience of at least 4-6 years in the construction or related industry performing and leading general construction trades required. Able to read Company's construction documents (provided in English) and provide guidance to construction team to complete necessary work. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish preferred. Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other specialties preferred. Knowledge of current building codes to include 2016 CBC and 2018 IBC and ADA a plus. Knowledge of LEAN a plus. Ability to complete material and labor take offs from blue prints a plus. Hours of operation are 5:00 am - 1:30 pm with some occasional overtime Special Considerations:Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects.
