What’s a typical day as a Time Planning Clerk? You’ll be: • Preparing, entering, and validating all payroll data in ADP, including employee time cards, time adjustments, vacation time, sick time, and pay codes. • Assisting with employee timecard corrections and tracking performance against timekeeping rules. • Coding labor transfers and cost center changes. • Processing employee data updates in the ADP timekeeping system. • Validating and updating leave of absence statuses. • Responding to employee inquiries and issues related to payroll. • Ensuring pay and deduction compliance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements. • Maintaining control documents for accurate payroll processing. • Identifying and resolving employee paycheck errors. • Tracking apprenticeship and probationary period hours for employees. • Processing punch edit forms and managing payment of service calls. • Providing general administrative support as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: • Have experience working with ADP or similar payroll systems. • Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Have a basic understanding of payroll and labor regulations. • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
