Job Abstract

At NorthBay Health the Human Resources Support Specialist II provides administrative and technical support to one or more assigned areas of the Human Resource Department. This is an experienced position and incumbents are expected to be able to work independently and without close supervision in carrying out a variety of assigned duties, tasks and projects across human resource specialty areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and learning and leadership.

The HR specialist responsibilities include record keeping and filing; public reception and phone coverage, data entry and maintenance of spread sheets, databases, specialized network-based and web-based HR and administrative applications, NorthBay’s HR/Payroll systems. As required, creates and runs a wide variety of standard and ad hoc HR Management and metrics reports. Prepares draft and final versions of correspondence, memos, reports, and analyses.
