As a Strategic Sales Analyst, you will join the Sales Operations team within our Connected Aviation Solutions Business Unit. This is a critical role in supporting the development and execution of our long-term sales strategy for Commercial Aviation. This position provides the opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to identify trends, assess market opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations to propel our business forward.
You will work in a Hybrid capacity which requires 3 days onsite at our Annapolis, MD or Houston TX site locations.
You will monitor and evaluate sales performance and understand how KPIs impact the business.
You will conduct in-depth research and analysis of sales trends, competitor activity, win/loss and industry dynamics.
You will translate complex data sets into clear and concise insights for a variety of stakeholders.
You will participate in the development of strategic initiatives and action plans.
You will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, recommending adjustments as needed.
You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather information and share insights.
You will support internal executives, the global sales team and the sales ops team with detailed visibility into business performance.
You will assume partial ownership and data stewardship in maintaining data accuracy.
You will leverage data analysis tools (tableau, excel, CRM analytics etc.) to build, generate and analyze reports and interpret results to drive decision making.
You will prepare compelling presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
Prior experience using data analysis tools and techniques
Prior experience in strategic consulting
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Qualifications We Prefer:
MBA, Marketing or Finance Degree and prior experience in a market analyst, business analyst, sales or corporate strategy role
Prior experience building presentations in order to communicate findings and recommendation to senior management
Prior experience working with and across multiple teams in a collaborative environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
