POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Lay-out data from BIM model to the field using survey equipment.
Collect survey data for use by engineering staff to conduct project planning and record as-built conditions.
Determine surveying requirements prior to project start up for accurate bid pricing and survey needs.
Diagnose any issues with survey equipment malfunctions and communicate these problems to manufacturers for troubleshooting and repair.
Coordinate with outside contractors/companies for any required set-up, layout, or as-builts in order to meet required project specifications.
Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor/on-site Superintendent within the physical constraints of the job and jobsite conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of experience in construction; preferred but not required.
Must demonstrate familiarity with Trimble software and operation.
Must demonstrate strong software and computer skills required to operate survey equipment.
Must have strong communication skills in order to communicate findings from surveys to engineering and field supervision staff.
Must be willing to travel to project locations.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
