POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lay-out data from BIM model to the field using survey equipment.
• Collect survey data for use by engineering staff to conduct project planning and record as-built conditions.
• Determine surveying requirements prior to project start up for accurate bid pricing and survey needs.
• Diagnose any issues with survey equipment malfunctions and communicate these problems to manufacturers for troubleshooting and repair.
• Coordinate with outside contractors/companies for any required set-up, layout, or as-builts in order to meet required project specifications.
• Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor/on-site Superintendent within the physical constraints of the job and jobsite conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Two (2) years of experience in construction; preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with Trimble software and operation.
• Must demonstrate strong software and computer skills required to operate survey equipment.
• Must have strong communication skills in order to communicate findings from surveys to engineering and field supervision staff.
• Must be willing to travel to project locations.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
