Job Abstract

Position Summary

Accurately counts inventory in storage locations on a daily basis using both paper-based methods and radio frequency methods. Reports inventory discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner to the inventory manager and the inventory lead. Moves inventory to predetermined locations as directed by the inventory control leads. Repairs or otherwise dispositions damaged goods as directed. Assists in investigating root-cause of inventory discrepancies.

Essential Job Functions and Specifications/Skills:

· Previous cycle counting experience

· Strong math skills

· Detail oriented/ strong attention to detail

· Working knowledge of computers and computerized equipment

· Ability to read and write English

· Experience with PKMS or SAP management software systems.

· Physical ability to lift, move and/or carry minimum of 50 lbs.

· Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact professionally with others.

· Able to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar business software systems.

· Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees and customers.

· Ability to operate cherry- picker, clamp truck, reach truck and electric pallet jack (Required).

Minimum Position Requirements:

· Minimum H.S Diploma or equivalent

· 1 year(s) experience working in a Distribution Center setting or inventory control experience.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Work experience in the shipping and or receiving function of a large distribution center environment.

Potential Career Path from this position:

• Department lead.

Physical Demands:

• Standing /walking for 8-hour shift sometimes longer depending on business need.
• Ability to work in fast-paced work environment, multi-task, tolerate frequent interruptions, must be change adaptive.

The California base pay range for this position is from $19.00 to $19.50. Salary will be based on prior experience related to
the skills required for this position.
