EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, employees and others. Effective in communicating and presenting information and responding to questions from supervisors, managers, fellow employees and/or the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment. CPR certification is mandatory, in addition to the pre-employment background check.
Other Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must have good observation skills. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate. Must be diplomatic and tactful; speak clearly and politely; respond well to questions. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees. Previous customer service experience preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred.

The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee will be working in an environment where smoking is permitted and higher than normal noise levels.
