Financial Consultant
Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate should live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health Pulse Point primary location in Indianapolis, IN. Candidates living within 50 miles of an Open Access Pulse Point will also be considered.
The Financial Consultant will be responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions

Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency
Advises management of various financial models and recommendations
Prepares complex presentations
Interfaces with operational leads to prepare forecasts and budgets
Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports
Deltek Costpoint Administration: Manages account and organizational changes and annual set up of the financial system
Provisional Rate preparation and submission
Monitors, updates, and tracks policies and procedures
Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments
Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
Federal government contracting
Software: Deltek Costpoint; TM1 forecasting and planning tool; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $73,920 to $126,720.
