As a Concessions Stand Lead, you will lead and organize the operations at assigned concession stands to deliver a safe and friendly atmosphere to all non-profit organizations, team members and guests. Understand content of menu and ensures the timely delivery of food, follows food safety/sanitation guidelines, assists with operating designated concession stand.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Operations
- Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
- Responds to guests and team member’s requests
- Establishes and builds rapport with guests and team members
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Supports concessions staff members and assists with food preparation when necessary
- Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to all teammates and guests
- Ensures concession stand operations are proactive to serve guests in a timely manner
- Ensures products are displayed and merchandised appropriately in their assigned locations throughout the event
Controls
- Maintains service areas
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Adheres to company guidelines and house rules
- Ensures proper control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies
- Ability to record inventory for various concessions locations accurately and timely including but not limited to before, during and after events and monthly inventory
- Communicates guest issues to supervisors or managers
- Follows cash handling policies
- Ensure Point of Sale system is functioning properly and takin action to resolve difficulties when necessary

- Displays a positive, friendly attitude toward not-profit organizations, volunteers, teammates and managers and promote a cooperative work climate
- Helps fellow employees whenever necessary
- Always on time and ready to go

Job Requirements
- Lifts and transports up to 40 pounds. Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
- Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls and burns
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
