The ideal candidate is an auditor, financial management professional, or financial consultant who can apply technical expertise and skills to support a Federal financial statement audit. Senior Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with the development of audit and testing plans Performing tests of transactions, preparing schedules, and evaluating audit evidence Providing technical knowledge; working individually and on teams to support the completion of specific tasks within time and budget constraints; and interface with the client on a day-to-day basis Applying their expertise to the practical issues they identify or those presented by the client Helping the Partner/Principal/Director; and/or Senior Manager; and/or Manager formulate solutions; prepare deliverables, and documentation, and support presentations and client meetings Directing the work of staff, and reviewing workpapers and reports for accuracy and completeness Qualifications BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university Minimum of 2.5 years of progressive, relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship) Preferred: Experience working with the Federal Government and/or DoD clients Experience in federal/DoD financial statement auditing, audit remediation, or audit readiness Proficient skills in MS Excel Passed or holds a CPA KCO1701 #LI-MA1 Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services.
