Atlas Tech is looking for a Database Architect in Alexandria, we are seeking the individual to lead our organization through a critical migration project, transitioning from Oracle Apps EBS Suite, SQL Server databases, SharePoint lists, and various unstructured data sources to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and team leadership to ensure a seamless, efficient migration process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, and a proven track record of successful data migration projects.
Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000
Travel - up to 20%
You Will:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of the data migration strategy from Oracle Apps EBS Suite, SQL Server, SharePoint, and unstructured data sources to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the migration strategy aligns with business goals and data governance standards.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data model for Dynamics 365 CRM that supports current and future business processes.
Design and implement data integration and migration solutions, perform gap analysis across systems, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration process.
Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of the migration plan.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the migration team, including training and mentorship.
Monitor and report on the progress of the migration project, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
You Have:
Must be a United States Citizen
Must possess and maintain a minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data architecture and data migration projects, with specific expertise in Oracle Apps EBS Suite, SQL Server, and SharePoint.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Power Platform including data modeling, customization, and configuration.
Proficiency in ETL tools and methodologies, data integration, and data quality management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects to completion on time and within budget.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Wed Be Impressed If You Had:
COMPTIA Security+ Certification.
Experience with cloud migration strategies, particularly to Azure.
Experience with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Pages, Power Automate
Knowledge of advanced data analytics and reporting within Dynamics 365 CRM.
Previous leadership experience or roles in large-scale migration projects.
Preferred:
A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to work independently.
A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and solutions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience working in agile project management environments.
