Directs all in-patient and outpatient respiratory services. Keeps informed of developments in pulmonary care services. Responsibility for administering services, which provide diagnostic and technical support to physicians, involved in assessing the functions of patients. Assigns, supervises, and coordinates technical and clerical personnel engaged in diagnostic and laboratory procedures involving the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular disorders. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Master's degree from an accredited College or University preferred in related field. Five (5) to Seven (7) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care with demonstrated management or leadership abilities and acute care experience required. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
