Your Role
The Organizational Development and Performance team is comprised of 3 sub-teams: Leadership Development, Career Mobility, and Talent and Performance Management. We seek to provide all our employees with opportunities to build their leadership capabilities at all levels and own their career growth and assess our talent fairly and to ultimately drive mobility and performance.
As a Talent and Performance Management, Senior, you will support talent assessment and review processes including executive talent review and aspects of Blue Shield’s annual performance management process. You will also analyze data and identify patterns and trends across both talent and management. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Talent and Performance Management.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Partner to execute short- and long-range strategic plans for effective development, engagement and utilization of human resources
Partner to execute practices, processes and programs that enable the company’s talent strategy
Partner to execute the organization's training and development strategy so that the skills, capabilities and performance of employees meet the organization's current and future needs
Partner to execute all training and development activities in an efficient, and cost-effective manner
Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, and report findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
Analyze talent and performance data to identify patterns, trends, and report findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
Assist with scheduling and organizing executive meetings as part of the performance and talent management processes, ensuring all details are meticulously managed to avoid errors
Serve as a project manager, supporting the development and implementation of projects (often involving cross-functional teams) through defining, tracking and communicating progress on program delivery milestones
Research best practices and conduct benchmarking inform performance management, talent assessment, and succession strategies
