Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., with varied start and end times

POSITION SUMMARY:
The sonographer is responsible for preparing examination rooms, and equipment, performing sonographic procedures, and providing quality patient care. He/she assists in various non-sonographic work areas to provide efficient operations in the office. The sonographer must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, development age and/or psycho-social maturity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Completion of a certified two (2) year Ultrasound program required.

Required length of experience:
One (1) year of hospital experience preferred but not required.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
RDMS required.
Current CPR, and BLS are required.
