Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents in preparation for therapy appointments, set up, transportation to and from the therapy department and assist in care during therapy appointments under the supervision of a licensed therapists.
Responsible for the appropriate copying, filing, and faxing of orders and other departmental clerical responsibilities assigned by Director
Coordinates the inpatient and outpatient therapy staff schedule. Responsible for establishing new outpatient chart, maintaining patient charts and collaborate with medical records. Performs Medicare/insurance verifications for outpatients.
Monitor staff calendar and schedule. Report any changes in staff calendar/ schedule to Director.
Answer phone calls and respond appropriately to residents concerns.
Employ and follow all appropriate facility infection control policies and procedures and will respect and follow OBRA Residents Rights Guidelines.
Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state, federal, and other appropriate certification.
Maintain the confidentiality of all Resident care information.
Immediately report all changes in Residents condition to supervisor of record.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months, preferred.
