Job Abstract

Verifies physical and System inventory are accurate to assure product is available for distribution utilizing FIFO procedures. Assist Warehouse Supervisor with monitoring Off Port third party Logistics Partner, Anacapa Fresh Logistics (AFL) loading of trucks to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and in a timely manner. Accountabilities:- Responsible for the overall accuracy of the weekly inventory both physical and in the Produce Pro system.- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with oversight of AFL sites. Monitors site inventory to assure product availability throughout the week including Produce Pro inventory accuracy and verifies physical counts as required, Assists with the coordination of weekly inventory projections and FIFO distribution.- Works with Product Coordination, Regional Sales and Transportation teams to fill orders and make necessary changes based on availably and in stock inventory.- Verify AFL operations daily and assists Warehouse Supervisor in tracking weekly expenses.- Verify Daily Sales Orders with AFL representatives to ensure they are prepared to cover daily workload.- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with month-end reports to Regional Finance Group as required. This includes verifying physical counts are completed and generating reports via Produce Pro.- Responsible for maintaining inventory of required Temperature recorders and distribution of recorders to AFL in order for them to issue to truck drivers to meet all customers' requirements.- Works with AFL and Port Administration team ensuring the accuracy of CHEP pallet inventory and shipping accuracy. Minimum Skills Required:- Associates Degree in a related field, from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience. - 2 years previous experience working in a multi-product food environment.- Experience in warehouse/ Loading dock operations.- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).- Solid background Product awareness, process management, inventory control, quality assurance and food safety. - - -
