Job Description Summary:
Serves as Assistant General Counsel of OhioHealth, providing legal consultation and advice to OhioHealth, its subsidiaries and its affiliates. Specifically, this position will be responsible for a wide variety of healthcare legal services which may include regulatory analysis including Stark, Fraud & Abuse, IRS and other healthcare regulations, mergers and acquisitions, and business agreements. This position requires an individual with an undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree from a recognized national school of law with a superior academic record and a license to practice in the State of Ohio (or receives license within 12 months of employment and has some familiarity with Ohio law). The qualified candidate will have significant healthcare transactional and regulatory law experience either in a law firm, governmental agency or in-house legal department (or combination thereof).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Requires a minimum of 5 Years of Experience in a law firm, governmental agency or in-house legal department (or combination thereof) with significant Experience corporate, transactional and regulatory law. Healthcare Experience is a plus, but not required. This position requires an individual with an undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree from a recognized national school of law with a superior academic record and a license to practice in the State of Ohio (or receives license within 12 months of employment and has some familiarity with Ohio law).
