Position: Operations Specialist

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, Flex per Employee Handbook
General Purpose: As a key member of the Home Creations team, the Operations Specialist is responsible for
ensuring streamlined and efficient processes and reporting metrics across all departments of the organization.
The operations specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able
to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks.
The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for
detail.
Supervision Received: Works directly under the direction of the COO and receive secondary direction from
various members of the Executive Team
Supervision Exercised: no direct reports, however, the Operations Specialist is a key catalyst for communication
and coordination across all departments within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement department-wide quality control measures under the direction of the COO
- Recommend to COO new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations
- Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when
- necessary
- Manage long-term goals of all departments. Report progress as needed to the COO.
- Create procedures and protocols (such as checklists) and distribute to staff
- Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team)
- Create and train associates across all departments and across all hierarchy, on any new operational
- reports or processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ year work related experience preferably in the home building/construction industry.
- High school diploma (or GED)
- College degree is a plus
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation

Work Environment: Temperature controlled office environment. The noise level is moderately quiet.
Physical Demands: Often requires sitting for up to 8 hours per day and repetitive use of fingers for typing.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry

Tool and Equipment: Windows PC, telephone, printer/copier/fax, and other general office equipment.
