This position will be focused on providing day-to-day support to the Firm’s scheduling department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties:
Prepare various reports using Excel and firmwide scheduling software program (ProStaff).
Assist with analyzing scheduling reports, resolving scheduling conflicts and partnering with the Scheduling Manager and Supervisor on Audit staff availability and overall staff utilization.
Assist with making the necessary reassignments for staff regarding scheduling of client engagements and projects when necessary.
Monitor and communicate staff’s unassigned time.
Prepare correspondence, proofread and format documents using Microsoft Word.
Create and work with spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
0 – 1 years’ relevant experience or similar role preferred.
Experience working in a Public Accounting Firm preferred.
Experience with ProStaff scheduling software preferred.
Must be able to work in the office at least 2 days per week.
Ability to coordinate and follow up on multiple tasks in a quick and efficient manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word & Excel).
Ability to work with varied personalities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team across all levels of the Firm.
Enjoys working in fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to identify creative, alternative solutions.
Professional attitude and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
