Reporting to the Administrative RN Director of Surgical Services, the Perioperative Assistant Nurse Director will lead clinical and administrative operations in one of the hospital’s key departments. Working closely with a CNOR Operating Room Nursing Manager, and supported by Nursing Supervisors for the Operating Room and PACU, the Assistant Director will lead an amazing team of tenured Charge Nurses and Perioperative RNs.
This Perioperative Services Assistant Nurse Director will lead and promote cooperative staff efforts, manage both operational and fiscal aspects for a department that sees over 18,000 annual procedures. With 10 operating rooms, and 15 PreOp/PACU beds, this well respected surgical services department offers a wide range of procedures such as general, gynecological, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular surgeries.
As the Assistant Nurse Director, you will be accountable for providing clinical and administrative leadership to the Perioperative Services Department. You will dive into the details, monitoring and analyzing both clinical and non-clinical data, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your presence will be crucial at regular meetings, where you can be expected to report on the Perioperative Department’s operational success.
