Job Title: Product Analyst
What you will bring:
As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product strategy and driving business success. You will leverage your analytical skills to interpret complex data, conduct market research, and support the development of new products. This role involves conducting in-depth data analysis, generating reports on key performance and risk indicators, supporting pricing strategies, and assisting in the client billing process.
Essential Duties:
- Product Performance Review and Reporting:
- Compile data and conduct in-depth analysis to prepare accurate monthly reports on product performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs), and exception pricing.
- Ensure timely preparation of reports to allow for sufficient analysis before applicable deadlines.
- Pricing Strategy Support:
- Assist in monitoring and contributing to the development of the annual pricing strategy.
- Gather and analyze data related to products and services to inform the pricing strategy.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support pricing strategy discussions and decisions.
- Client Billing Process Support:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the client billing process, adhering to accounting and audit requirements.
- Ensure accurate records and documentation are kept for billing purposes.
- Support Sales, Client Care, Operations, and Lending departments by addressing client inquiries related to billing.
- Prepare reconciliation of client billing data to vendor invoices.
- Assist with client proposals and onboarding calls as the billing subject matter expert (SME).
- Product Development and Enhancement:
- Collaborate with the Product Management team on the development and enhancement of products that align with the organization’s business objectives.
- Complete tasks specified in the product planning roadmap, including gathering customer feedback, conducting market research, and assisting with project coordination.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products through data-driven insights and analysis.
Basic Qualifications/Skills:
- Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience and demonstrated proficiency in a product analysis or data analysis function.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within, but not limited to, the banking sector. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and with data analysis tools and software (Excel, BI tools).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write for publication and present findings to various audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain trust with stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of product lifecycle management and development processes; Project management experience. Familiarity with accounting and audit requirements related to billing processes.
