In this role, you have the opportunity to:
conduct RF measurements on semiconductor components such as amplifiers, switches, filters, mixers, multi-chip modules, and integrated microwave assemblies that operate from DC to 40 GHz
You are responsible to:
- Conduct manual and automated production tests on RF semiconductor components
- Record, and organize test results. Communicate status of various production efforts
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electronics measurement equipment
- Develop understanding of operation, and parametric behavior of RF components
- Perform occasional surface mount assembly/rework with hand soldering equipment.
- Work with engineering design team to prototype and characterize new product

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of work experience with RF electronics device testing at the component level
- Associate degree in electronics preferred
- Familiarity with electronic circuits fundamentals, and RF measurement methods
- Ability to use lab test equipment including vector network analyzers, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, digital multi-meters, and basic electronic tools
Purpose: This position is for a seasoned individual contributor in the Test sub-family, who works under limited supervision for routine situations.
Responsibility Statement: Does Complex tuning and moderate problem solving Does Simple to moderate tuning Has solid understanding of Engineering standards and can read basic block diagram Other duties as assigned Prepare complex test reports and data in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures and may help write Acceptance Testing Procedures Runs complex testing; performs Thermal, Shock, Vibration and Environmental Tests Troubleshoots/problem solve, debugging of moderate to complex problems Use a variety of test equipment, including bus analyzers, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to ensure the highest quality of integrated and tested products
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to work with little to no general instruction on daily activities Solid knowledge of tuning logic and methods Strong reading, writing English, and strong arithmetic skills required Understanding of electrical theory and OHMs law
Education: Associate's Degree or H.S. Diploma
Work Experience: Experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical components , 3+ Years
