If you are a Medical Assistant seeking to gain experience with a leading healthcare company this may be your opportunity! We are recruiting for 4 Medical Assistants for positions in the Woodland/Davis area. Our client offers a competitive wage and this is a 6 month contract position. Medical Assistants will assist with general front and back-office duties. Positions will float to different departments and are Monday-Friday. Shifts are 8 hours between 7am-9pm. Pay: $25.73/hour. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect patient vital signs, record in medical record. 

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination. 

• Perform data entry, scanning, additional tasks required for patient's charting. 

• Schedule appointments, perform clinical tasks. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a medical assisting program. 

• Experience in a clinical setting a plus. 

• AHA BLS certification required.

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

• Proficient computer skills including scheduling software and EHR.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to work with confidential Protected Health Information (PHI) and use good judgement.

• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
