Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Clerk is a key member of the team supporting the Inventory Manager and Inventory Control Specialists. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
What You Will Do:
Partnering with the Inventory Control Manager on a daily basis to align on the work to be completed.
Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Utilizing warehouse management system (D365) proficiently, as applicable.
Maintaining and updating team metrics and progress reports, as directed.
Driving cycle counts with Inventory Associates per the weekly schedule; Reviewing those adjustments for large variances and researching.
Support Fulfillment team by serving as a resource to help correct inventory discrepancies that impact workflow.
Ensuring damages are being recouped/repackaged, as appropriate.
Making adjustments to inventory, as requested.
Creating inventory journals and movement entries, as directed.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Continuous standing/walking in a warehouse environment throughout an 8-hour day or longer.
Frequent push, pull, squat, bend and reach to stack, carry, lift and move product throughout an 8-hour day or longer.
Accepting various work assignments as needed, including on different teams, to support inventory objectives.
Who You Are:
Strong attention to detail
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Valid California Driver's license and acceptable driving record
PC experience preferred (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to clearly communicate information in writing or verbally.
Ability to identify and escalate problems or exceptions to the appropriate individuals/teams.
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, even on short notice?
Proficient in safety procedures
Must have or be able to pass certification for powered industrial truck (forklift/ electric pallet jack)
