About the Employer
Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,800 students from grades TK-8. We have 18 school campuses along with a TK-8 Virtual Learning Academy (VLA). Six out of eighteen schools receive Title I funds. The size of the schools range from approximately 730 students to 270 students. The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the District.
Oak Grove School District’s focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals. Job Description / Essential Elements:

To prepare, maintain and update student health records and files; maintain school health office and administer first aid and assist with clerical support functions. This job class exercises responsibility for the accurate maintenance of student health records and for timely evaluation, care and referral of student's illnesses and injuries, as well as first aid.
Requirements / Qualifications
Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices, including proper telephone techniques. The skill to learn and apply District policies and procedures related to student health-care and record keeping. Possession of a valid Standard First Aid Certificate, which includes CPR, prior to employment. Type accurately at 35 words per minute from clear copy; operate a variety of standard and specialized office machines and equipment such as computer terminal, calculator, copy machine, laminating, etc.
Must have valid First Aid & CPR certificate when applying.
