Your role at Clorox:
Distribution's purpose is to provide on-time shipments of high quality products to meet customer needs in a safe and efficient manner that minimizes costs. The purpose of this position is to perform all day-to-day activities, with focus on materials movement/management, palletizer operations and product storage, to achieve the department and business objectives. Day to day general direction is provided by the Lead Shipper and the Distribution Supervisor.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct Palletizer/Unitizer operations to include, changeover, resolving operational problems and to ensure finish product is at it highest quality.
- Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, to include batteries and chargers.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Any assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by the Distribution Supervisor.
- Moving and positioning finished products or materials from the Palletizer/Unitizer, trucks or rail into designated areas within the facility. (Essential Function)
- Load and unload all loads of finished goods and materials, as assigned.
- Comply with all customer service requirements.
- Serve as an Emergency Response Team member as assigned.
