Summary:
The marketing strategist develops, coordinates and monitors comprehensive marketing strategies to drive volume and revenue growth as well as other priorities for Summa Health. Serves as a system liaison and consultant in the development and implementation of marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for services lines and system-wide projects. Analyzes and evaluates marketing performance measures and outcomes and recommends changes to optimize Summa Health’s competitive position.
• Service Line Management – manage smaller service line marketing needs such as nursing and seniors. Create annual mini marketing plans, implement activities, manage budget and provide evaluation to ensure success.
• Project Management – lead key projects which fall outside of service line activities. Provide operational and tactical support for plans and projects as assigned.
• Event Program Management – assist with managing annual corporate event programs which support the mission of community engagement, building brand awareness and preference. Possible involvement includes helping manage calendar, project plans, contracts, budget, evaluation of ROI, conduct volunteer recruitment and training, develop event staffing schedules, event set-up and tear-down all event elements.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or related field of study.
2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Five (5) years of marketing and/or communications experience
b. Project management and implementation
c. Budget management and analytic reporting
d. Experience in healthcare industry preferred

l. Ability to provide ROI, optimizations and monthly metric dashboard which justifies investment in programs and projects.
