As the Manager of Surgical Services, you will play a pivotal role in fostering clinical excellence within the Perioperative Services department. This includes overseeing education development initiatives, mentoring staff to enhance clinical competencies, and driving continuous improvement in clinical quality. On the administrative side, you will be responsible for budgeting, staffing, operational efficiency, and maintaining positive relationships with Physicians to ensure seamless coordination of the Surgery Department.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Perioperative Services, the RN Manager of Surgical will lead clinical and administrative operations in this busy, dynamic 20 Operating Room department. Supported by a CNOR Assistant Nurse Manager, three tenured OR Charge Nurses, and a dedicated Surgical Services Educator, this Manager will have all the pieces in place for a successful transition.

This Perioperative Services Department is a dynamic center of activity, known for its fast paced and professional environment. The Surgical Services RN Manager will lead a team of nearly 200 employees in a unit that provides around 20,000 procedures annually.
