Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:
• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience in cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds.
• Current and complete K-4 DMV report with California seal (printed within 7 days of application) and a copy of valid California Driver License.
• Knowledge of modern cleaning methods and the preferred methods of cleaning and preserving floors, walls and fixtures and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of the principles of training and providing work direction.
• Knowledge of policies and objectives of assigned program and activities.
• Knowledge of basic record-keeping techniques.
• Ability to apply and explain schedules, procedures, and use of equipment and supplies used in custodial work.
• Ability to assign and inspect the work of others.
• Ability to plan, train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned custodians at an assigned school or District site.
• Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
• Ability to produce work orders.
