Job Summary: | The Division of Engineering Technology in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University is pleased to invite applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate or Full Professor of Mechatronics and Robotics. Exceptional candidates in mechatronics or robotics engineering are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates are expected to develop externally funded research projects and maintain high-level scholarly activities. The individual should have the ability and desire to teach some of the following undergraduate and graduate courses: Fundamentals of Mechatronics, Mechatronic Systems, Industrial Robots, Robot Dynamics and Kinematics, Linear Control Systems for Mechatronics, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Smart Manufacturing, Machine Elements, and Research Design & Methodology. Individuals with training and skills that complement and augment existing faculty expertise and have an interest in collaborative work are preferred. Positions will be located at the OSU Stillwater campus in the Engineering North building.

The Division of Engineering Technology (DET) houses six different technical engineering programs within the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT). With more than 500 undergraduates and 100 graduate students, DET fosters collaborative and interdisciplinary research in the strategic areas of Mechatronics, Robotics, Fire Protection and Safety Engineering, Fire and Emergency Management, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. |
