Job Abstract

Job Overview:

The primary function of the Radiology Technologist is to perform quality diagnostic x-ray exams to all patient populations of the hospital. X-ray exams are done in the X-ray Department, portably through-out the facility and in the OR.

Qualifications:

Required:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Graduate from an acreditted Radiologic Technologist program
• Proficient in using PACS and CR systems

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• NJCXT and ARRT

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem

Essential Functions:

• Lift, assist and transport patients
• Perform data entry for exam tracking and patient charging
• Other departmental duties as assigned
