Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is currently seeking a team player to fill a Solder Assembler role on our first shift at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus. This role reports to the Manager of Manufacturing.

Read and build assembly drawing along with the manufacturing work instructions.
Handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
2 – 4 years of equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English
Experience with Word, Outlook, Kronos & PeopleSoft.
Applicant must have familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies.
Ability to solder on most products in the factory.
Able to interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
