DESCRIPTION
Wondery is seeking a talented Strategy & Operations Manager to support our growing business. The candidate should be business-minded, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
This position will be the primary business interface with the Wondery finance team, partnering to oversee strategy development, financial planning, and operations/execution for the entire lifecycle of new initiatives. This individual will have an active role in problem identification, detailed data analysis, development of strategy, partnerships negotiation, and optimization post-launch. The position will also be the steward of Wonderys goal-setting and prioritization process, implementing mechanisms to deliver results for our business goals at scale.
The candidate must be an excellent leader, and will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively drive business results and collaborate with cross-functional groups. The individual must have experience driving execution of cross-functional projects, presenting to senior leadership, and with financial modeling.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with finance and analytics to drive deep understanding of Wonderys business drivers
- Partner with business leaders to define and execute Wonderys organization-wide goals
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through financial modeling business case development
- Socialize learnings from analysis to drive organization-wide business acumen
- Manage cross-company projects from initiation to completion
- Work across Amazon to learn and share best practices

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional or military experience in business-focused roles (business development, partnerships, accounting, finance, business intelligence, etc.)
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or Masters degree
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience in the Entertainment & Media industry (podcast network, streaming video service, broadcast or cable TV network, etc.), including an understanding of content strategy best-practices
- Demonstrated strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
